I studied and fell in love with chiropractic at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. I have always had an interest in helping other people, but after graduating from my first degree and postgraduate study, I was still unsure about what that was going to look like. When I discovered chiropractic, I knew it was where I was meant to be.
Chiropractic is my life passion that unfolded over the years of my own chiropractic journey. To me, it is about unleashing your forgotten health potential. It’s about pushing your function and performance beyond the limitations you’ve become accustomed to. It’s about healthier and happier individuals and families, not just for a moment but for a lifetime. It doesn’t matter whether you’re at the beginning, in the middle, or towards the end of your years. Make it all count.
I look forward to meeting you and I am so excited to be a part of you and your family’s health journey.

Unlike many, I have grown up with chiropractic all my life. I have not known life without it. With two parents for chiropractors, and then eventually pursuing chiropractic myself, I have had my spine and nervous system checked and adjusted regularly from the day I was born.
In my late teens, I represented NZ at two Australian Flatwater Kayak Nationals. At the time, my father was the chiropractor for the NZ kayak team and he cared for them at the 1988 and 1992 Olympics. I was inspired by his contribution to their performance. To this day I enjoy working with sports people along with anyone else committed to attaining more from their health.
In the early to mid 90s I went to study chiropractic in the States. Both my parents were teachers at American chiropractic colleges at the time. I could see how that experience enriched their careers as chiropractors and this was instrumental in me becoming an assistant lecturer and lecturer at the NZ Chiropractic College for 6 years in the 2000s. I worked in the chiropractic techniques area of the college and loved finding ways to better explain what I could see as a possible missing link in a student’s understanding. I bring this same approach to my practice these days trying to help people understand what I’m working with and how that will get us to what we’re trying to achieve.
My father has played a massive role in developing the technique curriculum at the NZCC and has always provided an innovative approach to practicing. While I adhere to many of the core concepts taught at the College my passion has always been to deliver chiropractic to the best of my ability including developing assessment methods that help me achieve that.
Now that I am well into my adult years, I realise how grateful I can be for growing up with an understanding for the natural power and health of the body. It seems to have paid off and I feel like I’m doing pretty well health-wise for my age. It excites me to offer chiropractic to all of you. It’s not a quick fix approach to health. Having been in practice since 1996, I have learnt that although there are short term benefits – the real benefits are seen over time.
I look forward to providing you with the very best of chiropractic care.
